Silence Will Not Save You, First Edition
One of our (many) super talented brvnchers Jess Blumenshied, is launching the first edition of her zine of personal writings, “Silence Will Not Save You.” We’ll have her say a little piece about what inspired her to do this, and then copies will be available for $5 each. Show a girl some love!

Last April, I abruptly parted ways with my Joomi Lim two-spike ring due to a very stupid mistake. So overwhelmed by having some girl steal it mere seconds after leaving it on a bathroom sink, I posted fliers all over campus begging the finder to give it back. No luck. Those who know me knew I was devastated/pissed/desperate to get it back because it was my second skin.
Saturday I revisited this episode of my life for a happy ending. If karma exists, then tipping the grocery bagger at C-Town the other day was an investment in good fortune. Joomi, 1/2 of Joomi Lim (which also includes husband Xaviar Ricolfi), sent me a surprise package after conversing via e-mail about the flier post she stumbled upon. In the box was the two-spike ring in matte gunmetal (!) and the Queen Bee stacked rings decked out in Swarovski crystals. Shouts out to Joomi for being sweetheart of the month and reuniting my fingers with some badass bling xo.
